2019 Ranger Tugs R-23 — Cruise-Ready, Low Hours, Fully Serviced
The Ranger Tugs R-23 has built a loyal following among Pacific Northwest boaters, and it's easy to see why — she's thoughtfully designed, surprisingly spacious, and well-suited to the varied conditions you'll encounter from Puget Sound to the San Juan Islands. This 2019 example has just 214 hours on her Yamaha F200 and a fresh full service on both engines, so she's in excellent shape and ready for the season ahead!

Accommodations
First-timers aboard an R-23 are almost always surprised by how much living space Ranger Tugs engineers into this hull. Four opening skylights and a curved windshield flood the cabin with natural light, while sliding side windows and an opening glass bulkhead let you dial in airflow and connect the cockpit to the salon whenever conditions call for it.
Below deck, you'll find a forward stateroom with teak table and berth, a versatile mid-berth ideal for kids or gear stowage, and a salon dinette that seats four and converts to a third sleeping area. The galley is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, cooktop, and microwave — more than enough to sustain a comfortable long weekend without shore power. The enclosed head features a marine toilet, shower, and holding tank with deck pump-out.

Cockpit
The aft cockpit is as functional as the rest of the boat — rod holders, fold-out double seat, cockpit table, and a soft top extension make it equally at home on a fishing morning or a lazy afternoon at anchor.
Recent Service — Yamaha F200
The main engine received a comprehensive service, and the results speak for themselves — she runs exceptionally smooth:
Oil, oil filter, gear box fluid, and fuel filter replaced
Impeller replaced
Spark plugs replaced and gapped
All steering and tilt pivots greased
Yamaha 9.9 Kicker
The kicker received equal attention and is in excellent running condition:
New carburetor installed
Oil, fuel filter, and impeller replaced
New steering and control handle installed
Main fuel supply filter replaced
This is a clean, low-hour example of one of the most well-regarded pocket cruisers on the market. She's been well cared for and is genuinely ready to go. We'd love to have you aboard for a showing — give us a call and we'll set it up.
