Saying Good-Bye to 2018
As we say good-bye to 2018, it is time to pause, reflect, and give thanks.
We started the year with the Seattle Boat Show at Century Link and Bell Harbor. Both venues were well attended and very productive! We hosted an open house from our Bellingham location in April and November. We participated in two boat shows in May; Sidney BC and Anacortes. Then it was on to the Poet’s Cove rendezvous with Ranger Tug and Cutwater, followed by the annual BYS Cutwater Cruise in July. 30 boats gathered at Roche Harbor for a fun, family-style gathering and a five day journey. In September, we returned to Roche Harbor for the big Ranger/Cutwater Factory Rendezvous and then went straight to Lake Union for the Boats Afloat Show. Now, we are gearing up for the 2019 Seattle Boat Show bringing lots of new, Sabre, Back Coves and Cutwaters into our inventory.
This year saw some significant change and growth within our team. Richard DeNike and his Dad, John joined our company and now represent the Everett office. Heather Ouilette returned to our company as our CFO. Michael Radwanski joined us as our Service Manager. And, Alison Holst is now our Sales and Marketing assistant. Dean Ouilette was named as the West Coast representative to the Sabre and Back Cove Dealer Advisory Council.
Most importantly, we saw our customers respond with record sales. 2018 is by far our most successful year in the 34 plus year history of the company! And, we were named #1 Cutwater Dealer in the USA for the second consecutive year along with #1 Cutwater Customer Service. We also saw a significant increase in sales with Sabre and Back Cove Yachts along with our brokerage boats.
We are so grateful to all of our clients who put their faith and trust in our company to help them achieve their dream of boat ownership. As we reflect back on 2018, it’s these relationships and the family memories made on the water that motivate us. Thank YOU so much! Wishing you a blessed and happy 2019!
