Accommodations.
The master stateroom is complete with a queen-size berth on the centerline, offering spacious and comfortable sleeping accommodations. There is a hanging locker with generous open shelving, opening stainless steel hatches in the overhead, and surrounding ports open for additional light and ventilation. The master ensuite head is starboard and the separate shower and tub basin are located to port. This is one of the only 40’ yachts you will see with a tub!
Galley-Up
As you move aft from the master stateroom, you will enjoy the view of your surroundings with 360-degree visibility in the salon and galley area. The starboard galley is centrally located so that the cook is part of the action whether underway or at anchor, and the it is fully equipped for any type of voyage. Equipment includes a full side fridge/freezer unit, 3-burner stove with oven, dual sink, coffee maker, and ample cupboard space for long range voyages.
Salon
The salon settee is located across from the galley to port and it is finished in a beautiful navy UltraSuede. The convertible settee may serve as an additional sleeping area for unexpected guests, a dining area while at anchor, or while underway it provides a nice place to relax for those guests that do not want to be outside in the elements.
Lower Pilothouse Helm
Forward of the galley on the starboard side is a traditional pilothouse helm and side door. In the Pacific Northwest where the weather can change at any time, a lower helm station with good visibility can be a true blessing while at sea. This 2006 model is equipped with the finest Raymarine electronics including an E-120 Radar/Depth/Plotter with 12" color display, a DSM-300 fish finder module, a Ray 215 VHF radio, and networking cables to intigrate upper and lower helm stations (new technology in the E-120 units!)
Second Salon and Guest Stateroom
Aft of the salon and galley is an additional lounging area that serves as a second salon or a second stateroom. The u-shaped settee is perfect for watching movies or playing games, and it converts into a large full berth comfortable enough for two adults. A second head is located to starboard, and an additional entry/exit door aft leads out into the cockpit.
Flybridge and Deck
The 40' Albin is one of the only aft cabin styled yachts that boasts a cockpit that can be used for stowage and boarding. The decks are wide and easily maneuvered with the safety and stability of the stainless steel rail system. There is a large flybridge area with two helm chairs, an L-sette, and the same electronics offered in the pilothouse helm area. With it's elegant interior, quality, hand-crafted design, and wide array of state-of-the-art electronics, this vessel is one of a kind.
